The legislative act entrusts commanders with responsibility to take decisive measures to stop commitment of criminal infringement by their subordinates and restore the rule of law.
The law imposes administrative responsibility for the commitment of military administrative infringements.
The respective amendments were made to the Criminal Code, Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, Criminal Executive Code, Disciplinary Statute, Internal Service Statute, as well as Statute of Garrison and Patrol Services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Law “On the Social and Legal Protection of Military Men and Members of Their Families”.
The law was adopted with consideration of proposals.
The respective bill was registered under No. 1762.
